| For over 14 years, Mr. Peterson has worked with start-ups and Fortune 500 multinationals, to identify and implement strategic and operational improvement opportunities that yield measurable increases in shareholder value. His extensive experience in enterprise-wide transformations has given him a comprehensive problem-solving skill set; particularly in strategic planning, market penetration/new venture formation, channel optimization, organizational design, and “strategic triage,” or the rapid identification and implementation of value-creating initiatives. Mr. Peterson’s industry experience includes technology, consumer products and manufacturing, retail, and telecommunications among others. He is recognized as a pragmatic, hands-on problem solver; known to rapidly deliver concrete, measurable results.
Prior to co-founding Business Value Associates, Mr. Peterson was a Partner and practice leader in the Corporate Strategy practice of PwC Consulting, where he focused on business development, organizational design, and enterprise-wide transformations. Previously, he served as a Project Engineer with Allied Signal Aerospace.
Mr. Peterson earned his MBA (with highest honors) from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Northwestern University), and his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. He is the author of several thought leadership articles, and has made major contributions to PwC Consulting’s High Tech Point of View.
